The 2026 race for Fort Bend County Judge is intensifying as two Democratic challengers, District Judge Christian Becerra and former Precinct 3 Constable Nabil Shike, have announced their intentions to run against incumbent KP George. KP George’s Legal Challenges

KP George, who has served as Fort Bend County Judge since 2019, is currently facing legal scrutiny. Former Precinct 3 Constable Nabil Shike also announced his intention to run for County Judge. An attorney by profession, Shike served as constable from 2020 until his defeat in the 2024 election.
